Creative Environment

The Commons is more than just creative space. It’s an artful blend of state-of-the-art technology and leading-edge sustainability brought together in a variety of contemporary spaces designed to meet the needs of today’s creative companies. With spaces ranging from 5,000 square feet to full floor plates of approximately 18,000 square feet, Boulder Commons allows for the ultimate expression of your company’s individual work style and values.

Open Office Layout

We designed the work areas of Boulder Commons to improve productivity, communication and ultimately the profitability of our tenants’ organizations. Open floor plans are designed to maximize workflow and efficiency. Natural daylight and modern lighting solutions create a bright, naturally productive environment.

Common Areas

The flexible spaces are designed to reflect today’s work style, where workspaces blend with social space to encourage creativity and collaboration. The lines gently blur between common spaces like conference rooms, kitchens and lounge areas. With dramatic western views to Dakota Ridge and the Flatirons, the generous window openings at the Commons welcome the outside in.

Traditional Office Space

One style does not fit all. For some creative environments, an open office space is preferred, with private meeting areas strategically placed throughout the floor plan. Others require more traditional design, resulting in an office-based layout. Still other office configurations find themselves somewhere in between. At the Commons, the choice is yours.

Art Gallery

The north building lobby will function as an official gallery for Art Movement Colorado. Local, regional and national artists’ art will be featured throughout the lobbies and community spaces.

Plaza

Outdoor common spaces include a casual garden area to the north, the formal plaza between the buildings and the dining courtyard along Goose Creek bikeway.

Deck Space

A 1,500 square-foot community roof deck is located on the third floor of the South building. This shared space provides stunning views of the scenic Flatirons and surrounding foothills. In addition, many of the floors have smaller roof decks for individual tenant use.
